TAYLOR IS CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS OR PROJECTS.
HOW THE BOOKING PROCESS WORKS:
Due to the amount of inquiries I receive every year, I have developed a way to manage the flow so I am able to give the proper amount of attention to each project I take on and I am able to finish these projects in a timely manner.
Once or twice a year I put a form on this website page that is for new project requests. These projects can be proposed by existing clients or new clients. Usually, these forms are announced that they will be on my website a month before you are able to fill it out. Once the form is published it is on the website for a week. If you do not fill out the form in the designated time frame it will not be considered. On this form you will fill out different fields that help me determine if I will be a good fit for the tattoo you are looking to get. In some instances I may recommend you to another artist, this could be for a variety reasons. Please don’t take it personally, I would like to be able to work with as many people as possible, but I simply do not have the time in my schedule to accommodate everyone.
Please fill out the form thoroughly. Be as specific as possible with the requested information. Everyone who fills out a form completely and on time will receive a response. This may take a couple of weeks due to the volume of inquiries. If you do not receive anything within a month please make sure that it is not in your spam folder. There are two responses that you may receive: I am interested in the project, in which I will request more information (mainly reference photos and examples of my work that you like)
The second response would be that the project is something I will not be taking on this round. With this response you may receive a recommendation to another local or regional artist that I believe would be good for your project.
If I am interested in your project that does not mean you will automatically receive an appointment. In some instances what I am thinking you want and what you send me as references may be two completely different things. In these instances you may be referred to someone else.
After sending in your photos, if you are approved for an appointment it may take anywhere from 1-4 months to receive an appointment. (In rare cases longer). You will receive a phone call. If you do not answer I will leave a message asking you to call me back when you can. I will try a second time the following week. If you do not answer again or call back I will move on.
When starting projects that will take more than one session I try to book two appointments to start and then at the first you may book another (3rd appointment) if needed and so on until the project is completed.
Schedule
Tuesday- Saturday 10a-7p
All of the work I provide is custom, not only in design but each design is tailored to each individuals body. With this in mind I spend a lot of time making sure each tattoo is perfect for each individual. To compensate for this I offer flat rates, a full day rate, a half day rate, and for tattoos that won’t take a half day, a flat rate based on design and location. These three rates are described individually below.
Rates
Half Day Rate: $700
Required Deposit: $200
A Half day consists of drawing/ design lay out if needed. 3-4 hours of tattooing aftercare instruction. *For some large projects A half day may not be an adequate amount of time to start the project. If you book a half day session and are unable to sit the entire session please be aware that you may still be required to pay the half day rate.
Full Day Rate: $1350
Required Deposit: $350
A Full Day consists of drawing/ design lay out. 5-7 hours of tattooing, 30min lunch break. Aftercare instruction. *For some large scale work I will require a full day session to start the project, this is due to the amount of time it will take to plan out the entire project and get the essential elements tattooed. If you book a full day session and are unable to sit the entire session please be aware that you may still be required to pay the full day rate.
Travel Rates: Half Day - $800, Full Day- $1500
Required Deposit: Half Day- $200, Full Day- $400
Due to assumed travel costs for lodging, transportation, and convention fees, while traveling I will need to have additional charges. If you book a full day session or half day session and are unable to sit the entire session please be aware that you may still be required to pay the full day or half day rate.
Smaller tattoos: $ Varies (minimum $200)
Required Deposit: $200
Smaller tattoos are tattoos that I deem will take me less than a half day session. These tattoos will be priced off of design, size, location on the body, style of tattoo and detail. The minimum price to be tattooed by Taylor is $200.
Deposits:
All deposits are non-refundable. You will not be given an appointment until the deposit is paid. For large scale work we will hold the deposit until the last session of your project, upon completion of the project the deposit will be taken off the total of the price. Deposits may be transferred in case of a reschedule, as long as we are notified TWO WEEKS prior to your appointment. Deposits are only transferable two times due to reschedule before the deposit is claimed and a new one is required or future appointments are denied. If you are running late to your appointment please notify us promptly. If you are 15 mins late with no notice we will contact you, if you are 30 mins late with no notice you will sacrifice both your appointment and deposit. Deposits are paid for a specific project. If you change your mind about what you want, you may be required to leave another deposit, or the appointment may be canceled.
Large Scale Work:
Includes but not limited to, Full Backs, Full fronts, Chest pieces, Full or half sleeves (arm or leg). For most large scale projects I will require a full day to start. A lot of the first day is getting the lay out of the piece and composing the elements to each individuals body. I find that I work best on large scale projects when I am able to consistently chip away at the project, I will ask that when starting a project you will be able to commit to one session at least every other month if not every month ( in some instances you may be able to book more than one a month). My tattooing is constantly evolving and to provide a more cohesive piece for you finishing in a timely manner is important.
Artistic Freedom/ Designs:
I ask my clients give me artistic freedom with their ideas. I carefully make decisions regarding every aspect of the tattoo to give you the most exceptional product I can provide. I understand clients may wish to have specific elements incorporated into the design and that some things are extremely important, these aspects are always carefully considered. Make sure that you convey to me any specifics within your initial inquiry. If you are approved for your project and then you change your mind on the design, your appointment may be canceled depending on the new idea. In addition designs are not available until the time of your appointment.
Special Advice:
In order for me to work at my best, I need you to be at your best. Things that will help you with your session:
- Get a full nights rest the night before.
- Be aware that menstruation can effect your overall pain tolerance while getting tattooed.
- Do not consume excessive amounts of alcohol the night prior.
- Please consult your artist before applying anything to your skin just prior to your appointment. Numbing cream, etc.
- Eat some food before your session.
- Bring snacks for stretch breaks.
- Dress appropriately for me to be able to access the area we will be tattooing in.
- If you are prone to being cold, bring an extra layer of clothing.
- Be cautious of your caffeine consumption the morning of your appointment.
- If you like to listen to your own music please bring headphones.
-We appreciate if you take phone calls on breaks not during the actual tattoo process.
