- Smaller tattoos are tattoos that I deem will take me less than a half day session. These tattoos will be priced off of design, size, location on the body, style of tattoo and detail. I will mainly do small tattoos during my walk-in days (Every second Saturday of each month) in order to make room in my schedule for larger scale projects.
Travel Rates:
Half Day - $700, Full Day- $1200
Required Deposit: Half Day- $250, Full Day- $300
Due to assumed travel costs for lodging, transportation, and convention fees, while traveling I will need to have additional charges. If you book a full day session or half day session and are unable to sit the entire session please be aware that you may still be required to pay the full day or half day rate. The below deposit policy applies to my travel rates as well.
Deposit Policy:
All deposits are non-refundable. You will not be given an appointment until the deposit is paid. Appointments with me are typically made over the phone/email, and your invoice will be directly emailed to you through Square. You are given your appointment based on your inquiry, and if you change your mind, you will have to forfeit your spot and deposit, and resubmit with your new idea when books open again.
For larger scale work I will hold the deposit until the final session of your project. Upon completion of the project, your deposit will be taken off the final price. Deposits are not transferrable or able to be used with any other artist or service The Crucible provides. If you are running late to your appointment *please* notify us promptly. If you are 15 mins late with no notice we will contact you, if you are 30 mins late with no notice, you will sacrifice both your appointment and deposit.
I require a minimum of 5 days notice for rescheduling. I understand that things happen suddenly regarding health, family, work, and other factors that may potentially cause scheduling conflicts. However certain days of the week are more difficult to fill last minute. Please keep any other appointments you might have in mind when booking your tattoo that may conflict with your time here. (Vacations, doctor appointments, etc.)
Special Advice:
In order for me to work at my best, I need you to be at your best! Here are a few things that will help you with your session:
Get a full nights rest the night before. No one likes to be exhausted and get tattooed for hours!
Do not consume excessive amounts of alcohol the night prior.
Be aware that menstruation can effect your over all pain tolerance while getting tattooed.
Numbing cream strongly discouraged! Talk to me before applying anything to your skin just prior to your appointment.
Have a good breakfast/lunch prior to your session. Properly hydrate. It not only helps your internals, but your skin as well!
Bring snacks for stretch breaks.
Dress appropriately for me to be able to access the area we will be tattooing in.
If you are prone to being cold, bring an extra layer of clothing. Blankets within reasonable size welcome.
Be cautious of your caffeine consumption the morning of your appointment.
If you like to listen to your own music, please bring headphones. I am a headphone user for longer sessions.
We appreciate if you take extended phone calls on breaks, not during the actual tattoo process.
